Born and raised in New Orleans, LA. Rosalind Armstrong-Woodfox, is one of four siblings. She has been blessed in marriage to Dwayne for 26 years. She is also the proud mother of 4 and proud grandmother of one.
Rosalind is a graduate of the University of New Orleans where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science. She also served 8 years in the United States Army Reserve.
Rosalind is a founding member of Household of Faith Family Worship Church International, where Pastor Antoine M. Barriere is the Pastor and her Spiritual Father. She serves faithfully on the Elders Council and the church Trustee Board. She also serves as the Overseer of the Ministerial Alliance Ministry and is active in the Sister’s By Faith Women’s Ministry under the leadership of her 1st Lady, Dale Barriere.
She published her 1st book in 2018 entitled My Story, My Testimony, My Deliverance which tells of her real life experiences growing up and how she was delivered and healed of 2 incurable diseases. She is the Founder of ROSE, Reaching Our Sisters Everyday, helping souls break free of their painful past, receive emotional healing and walk in deliverance. In June 2019 she began a mentoring program for young girls ages 14-21 called Daughter of a ROSE.
Rosalind is a servant, a mentor, a counselor, an author, a worshipper, an exhorter, and a prayer warrior. You will always find her serving and meeting the needs of God’s people and getting her “praise on”! Her daily motivation is, Jeremiah 29:11, “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace and not evil but to give you an expected end.”
She loves to read, dance, bake and trying new recipes. She’s crazy about candles…(hint hint), Cactus Blossom and charm bracelets (which she wears everyday). Not a big fan, but exercising is a part of her weekly routine. Nothing beats spending quality time with her family, especially her husband. But most of all, she loves spending time in God’s word and preaching God’s Word.
