Our Visionary
Rosalind Armstrong-Woodfox
Born and raised in New Orleans, LA. Rosalind Armstrong-Woodfox, is one of four siblings. She has been blessed in marriage to Dwayne for 30 years. She is also the proud mother of four and proud grandmother of one. Rosalind is a graduate of the University of New Orleans, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science. She also served 8 years in the United States Army Reserve.
Rosalind served faithfully in a local ministry for 25 years. In addition to undergirding the Man and Woman of God, she served on the Elders Council, as Overseer of the Ministerial Alliance Ministry and Director of Ministries. She was also a member of the church Trustee Board. While serving, she received a solid foundation before answering God’s call to the next level in her ministry.
In 2018, she founded R.O.S.E, Reaching Our Sisters Everyday. Her call is to help souls break break free of their painful past, receive emotional healing and walk in deliverance. She also published her 1st book in 2018, entitled "My Story, My Testimony, My Deliverance" which tells of her real life experiences growing up and how she was delivered and healed of 2 incurable diseases. In June 2019 she began a mentoring program for young girls ages 14-19 called Daughter of a ROSE. She hosts a weekly prayerline called Ministry Monday to encourage those in the Word and pray for the needs of people. Rosalind is also the host of ROSE Table Talk, a bi-weekly radio show to inspire and encourage others through personal testimonies.
Rosalind is a servant, a mentor, a counselor, an author, a worshipper, an exhorter, and a prayer warrior. You will always find her serving and meeting the needs of God’s people and getting her “praise on”! Her daily motivation is, Jeremiah 29:11, “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace and not evil but to give you an expected end.”
She loves to read, dance, bake, do jigsaw puzzles and trying new recipes. She’s crazy about candles…(hint hint), Cactus Blossom and bracelets (which she wears everyday). Rosalind has a love/hate relationship with exercising. Nothing beats spending quality time with her children and grandson, catching up with her closest friends over dinner or getting away with her husband.
But most of all, she loves spending time in God’s word and preaching God’s Word!
